The Playroom is specially designed to foster advanced physical and food literacy in young children and their families.
We offer a tailored home-based environment that allows children to engage with a diverse range of movement vocabulary and nutrition habits.
I have been working in integrative rehabilitation since 2007 and found a passion for working in health promotion after I had my son in 2022. Fundamental movement skills are incorporated into each day’s activities. We offer activities that are both developmentally appropriate and challenging so your child is always engaged.
All of our care providers have over a decade of combined experience in teaching and training clients on how to move and eat. We specialize in providing tailored physical and food literacy programs for communities.
The Playroom’s movement and eating and outdoor spaces are safe for infants, toddler and their families, including new caregivers, senior caregivers and caregivers requiring extra support.
We understand the unique needs of families with young children which is why we have designed our services to be safe and effective for all literacy levels.
Meals are available at the Playroom for both children and caregivers. Meals are prepared on site, may contain eggs and meat, and sometimes include the option to take home raw (frozen) meals for caregivers to prepare themselves.
The PlayRoom has limited availability as a mobile service. Please inquire about our discounts for first time events and special occasions bookings.
